I’m walking 30 Miles in September and raising funds for families affected by dementia. I would be grateful for your support.
An £8 donation could cover the telephone costs of two families seeking support through Dementia UK's free Helpline. £33 could fund an hour with a dementia specialist Admiral Nurse, helping a family with practical solutions and emotional support.

Walking 30 Miles in September for Dementia UK
Saturday 9th AugThis September, I’m lacing up my trainers and committing to walk 30 miles in support of Dementia UK – a charity close to my heart. Both of my parents have faced dementia, and I’ve seen firsthand the heartbreak and challenges it brings. It’s not just about memory loss; it changes lives – for those living with the disease and for the families who love and care for them.
Every step I take this month will be in their honour, and for all the families out there who are going through the same journey. The money raised will help fund vital research, care, and support – with the ultimate goal of finding a cure for Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia.
If you can, please support my walk – whether it’s through a donation, sharing my story, or simply cheering me on. Together, we can help bring hope, better treatments, and one day, an end to dementia.
