I'm walking 60 Miles in June for Dementia UK
This June, I'm walking 60 Miles and raising funds to help ensure no family faces dementia alone. I'm taking on the challenge for Dementia UK, the specialist dementia nursing charity, and would be grateful for your support.
Your donation, big or small, makes a difference. £33 could fund a new dementia specialist Admiral Nurse to spend an hour helping a family in the community, offering practical solutions and emotional support to cope with their loved one’s distressed behaviour.

My Mum.
Wednesday 20th May Raising money for a cause so close to my heart. Supporting Admiral nurses like my dear friend Rachel who works at our local Pendleside Hospice providing specialist care for people with dementia and their families and of course for my precious Mum who has advanced dementia needing 24 hour care at the fantastic Woodside care home where she lives in their specialist unit. The challenge is to walk 60 miles in June but I’m going to try and double that amount. Please support me if you can by dropping a few coins in the collection or coming for a walk with me. Thank you.
