I'm cycling for Dementia UK

I'm taking on a cycling challenge and raising funds to help ensure no family faces dementia alone. I'm taking on the challenge for Dementia UK, the specialist dementia nursing charity, and would be grateful for your support.

Your donation, big or small, makes a difference. £33 could fund a new dementia specialist Admiral Nurse to spend an hour helping a family in the community, offering practical solutions and emotional support to cope with their loved one’s distressed behaviour.

First Pratice Ride

Monday 10th Aug
My aim was to do around 30- 35 miles. 
However the ride came to an abrupt end after twenty miles when I caught a small curve and got catapulted over the handle bars at 15mph!!! 
Landed head and face first on a pebble beach in Tankerton. A ride in an ambulance a stich in my top lip where my broken tooth went through it. A couple of big gashes on my shin and lots of bruises and minor cuts and bruises. 
Not the start I wanted but I will be back out on the bike soon as nothing broken other than my helmet!!! 
Always wear a helmet please
