Join us for coffee, cake, and a wonderful cause!

We’re hosting a Dementia Coffee Afternoon to raise money for Dementia UK, and we’d love for you to be part of it.

Our goal is to raise £300, and every slice of cake and every friendly chat helps us get closer.

🌼 Coming Together for a Cause: Our Dementia Coffee Afternoon – Friday 8th May

At Ocean Breeze, community isn’t just something we talk about – it’s something we live every day. That’s why we’re so excited to be hosting our Dementia Coffee Afternoon on Friday 8th May, raising funds in support of Dementia UK.
Dementia touches so many families, including those within our home, and events like this give us a chance to come together, share stories, and make a meaningful difference. Our goal this year is to raise £300, and with the help of our wonderful families, friends, and neighbours, we’re hopeful we can reach – or even exceed – that target.
☕ What to Expect
The afternoon will be filled with warmth, conversation, and plenty of delicious treats. We’ll have:
• Freshly brewed coffee and tea
• A tempting selection of homemade cakes
• A friendly, welcoming atmosphere
• Opportunities to learn more about the work Dementia UK does for families across the country
Our residents love seeing familiar faces, and events like this bring such joy and connection to the home. Whether you stay for a chat or simply pop in for a slice of cake, your presence truly matters.
💛 How You Can Support
If you’re joining us on the day, we kindly encourage you to bring some change, as we’ll have cakes available to purchase throughout the afternoon.
For those who prefer to donate digitally – or for anyone who can’t attend but still wants to support the cause – we’ll also be sharing an online fundraising link. Every contribution, no matter the size, helps Dementia UK continue their vital work supporting families living with dementia.
