I'm walking 80 miles (updated!) in September
A few months ago we received the very sad news that my incredible Mum has Alzheimer's and vascular dementia. She has tolerated multiple health issues over the past twenty years with courage and dignity, including blindness from macular degeneration.
So, I’m walking not 30, but now 80 Miles in September to raise funds for families affected by dementia. My family and I would be very grateful if you would consider supporting me on this challenge.
An £8 donation could cover the telephone costs of two families seeking support through Dementia UK's free Helpline or £33 could fund an hour with a dementia specialist Admiral Nurse, helping a family with practical solutions and much-needed emotional support.
Any donation, big or small, will have such a positive impact.
