I'm walking 30 miles in September
I’m walking 30 Miles in September and raising funds for families affected by dementia. I would be grateful for your support.
An £8 donation could cover the telephone costs of two families seeking support through Dementia UK's free Helpline. £33 could fund an hour with a dementia specialist Admiral Nurse, helping a family with practical solutions and emotional support.

Wednesday 13th Aug Hi both my parents have been diagnosed with dementia and as a family we cope with the ups and downs of our parents dementia journey .The support out there is patchy and once diagnosed there is next to no support from gp. It’s a post code lottery for community support too and Adult social care - oh dear 🥹
Our parents deserve so much better
The info and links available through dementia uk are very helpful in what is turning out to be a minefield .
I hope to complete 30 miles in September to raise money and awareness
