I'm walking 31 Miles in May for Dementia UK
This May, I'm walking 31 Miles and raising funds to help ensure no family faces dementia alone. I'm taking on the challenge for Dementia UK, the specialist dementia nursing charity, and would be grateful for your support.
Your donation, big or small, makes a difference. £33 could fund a new dementia specialist Admiral Nurse to spend an hour helping a family in the community, offering practical solutions and emotional support to cope with their loved one’s distressed behaviour.
Thank you!

Why I’m Walking for Dementia
Thursday 16th AprDementia is something that touches far too many lives. It’s no longer a distant issue we hear about occasionally — it’s here, in our families, our friendships, and our communities.
I’m walking because I’ve seen the impact up close. I have friends who are caring for loved ones living with dementia, and I’ve witnessed both the strength it takes and the heartbreak it brings. The gradual loss of memories, personality, and independence doesn’t just affect one person — it ripples through everyone who loves them.
What strikes me most is that dementia doesn’t discriminate. It could happen to any of us, at any time. That reality makes it impossible to ignore.
This walk is my way of standing alongside those facing it every day — the individuals living with dementia, the families navigating the challenges, and the carers giving so much of themselves. It’s about raising awareness, showing support, and helping to drive change.
If we can come together, even in small ways, we can make a difference. Because no one should have to face dementia alone.

Great cause! Hope you enjoy it…!!
