I'm walking 50 miles in September

I’m walking 50 Miles in September and raising funds for families affected by dementia. I would be grateful for your support.

An £8 donation could cover the telephone costs of two families seeking support through Dementia UK's free Helpline. £33 could fund an hour with a dementia specialist Admiral Nurse, helping a family with practical solutions and emotional support.

Thank you!

My Updates

Last day of ‘30 Miles in September’ in aid of Dementia UK 💙

Tuesday 30th Sep
As this month-long challenge comes to a close, I’m feeling incredibly proud and grateful. Walking 30 miles in September wasn’t just about the steps—it was about every memory, every loved one, and every story that made this cause so close to my heart.

Dementia touches so many lives, and taking part in this challenge was my way of honouring those affected and supporting the incredible work Dementia UK does every day.

Thank you to everyone who supported me along the way—your encouragement meant the world.

Now… I’m lacing up and looking ahead. I’m ready for my next challenge. 💪

Latest walk in London

Sunday 21st Sep

Update: Today I managed to fit in my mile walk while in Tottenham, London, on the way to a concert. After a 4-hour car journey, it felt great to stretch my legs and keep pushing towards my fundraising goal. Every step counts for this cause that means so much to me. 💜

My T-Shirt Has Arrived! 🎉👕

Sunday 7th Sep

Today was a little milestone moment — my challenge t-shirt arrived, and I’m already rocking it on my walks for Dementia. 💜 Every step I take in it feels like a badge of honour, not just for the miles I’m clocking up, but for the cause behind it.

Wearing this shirt makes me feel proud, motivated, and even more determined to keep going. Each walk is for those living with dementia, their families, and for everyone who’s been touched by it.

Starting today with a walk in lake Garda

Monday 1st Sep

I started my walk on holiday in beautiful Lake Garda, bright and early, while the world was still quiet and calm. The sun was already warming the air, promising a golden day ahead, and the lake shimmered as though it was welcoming the morning with me.

This walk wasn’t just about soaking in the stunning scenery—it was also the start of my challenge for Walk 30 Miles in September in support of Dementia. Each step feels even more meaningful knowing it’s helping to raise awareness and support for such an important cause
