I'm walking 30 Miles in September for Dementia UK
This September, my lovely friend Sian and I are walking 30 miles to raise funds for the charity Dementia UK.
As some of you might now, my gorgeous mum was diagnosed with dementia 18 months ago. It’s been so sad to see her loose all of her independence during this period. It’s a cruel disease 😢
Dementia UK offers invaluable support to families so that nobody has to go through dealing with the illness alone.
It’s not a massive challenge but we hope we can raise some funds and also raise awareness of this charities work.
It also means we get to walk and talk a lot in September and maybe dive into a few pubs here and there for a quick glass of wine on route! It’s good to talk!
