I'm walking 62 Miles in October
💙 Supporting Families Affected by Dementia
This month, I was deeply moved to learn about a challenge that affects so many families dementia. It’s an issue close to my heart, and I wanted to take meaningful action to support those who are living with its impact every day.
That’s why throughout October, I’m taking on the challenge of walking 62 miles to raise vital funds for Dementia UK. The money raised will ensure that families affected by dementia can continue to receive the specialist help, practical advice, and emotional support they need from Dementia UK’s Admiral Nurses.
Every contribution, no matter the size, makes a real difference:
· £10 could cover the telephone costs of two families reaching out to Dementia UK’s free Helpline.
· £33 could fund one hour with a dementia specialist Admiral Nurse, providing a family with expert guidance and comfort.
I would be incredibly grateful for your support whether through a donation, spreading the word, or simply offering encouragement. Together, we can make a difference for families living with dementia.

Thursday 30th Oct Hi, most of my walks done this month have been with the great support of Sarah, my wife. We started well and have only had a couple of days when we haven’t walked. Some of these have been due to either travelling (flying x 5 this month), or stopped by food poisoning (x1 only thank god)Thank you to my Sponsors
