I'm walking 31 Miles in May for Dementia UK
This May, I'm walking 31 Miles and raising funds to help ensure no family faces dementia alone. I'm taking on the challenge for Dementia UK, the specialist dementia nursing charity, and would be grateful for your support.
Your donation, big or small, makes a difference. £33 could fund a new dementia specialist Admiral Nurse to spend an hour helping a family in the community, offering practical solutions and emotional support to cope with their loved one’s distressed behaviour.

Monday 4th May Walking for my beautiful, vibrant, full of life Mum who battled with Alzheimer's for years before sadly dying last November from other health complications. It was heartbreaking to watch her decline and struggle to manage the frustrations and confusion that dementia had brought into her life. As a family we didn't really know where to turn and never made use of Admiral nurses or other agencies for help. I would hope that raising money for Dementia UK will make it easier for people to find help when dealing with the unimaginably hard circumstances that arise with this awful disease.
