Walking for Daddy 💙🌈
In September,  we lost  our daddy after his long and heartbreaking journey with Alzheimer’s. Like so many families affected by this disease, we watched someone we love slowly slip away, even while they were still with us. Alzheimer’s doesn’t just take memories — it takes moments, conversations, and parts of the people we hold closest.
My dad was so much more than his illness. He was kind, funny, and full of love, and those are the memories I choose to carry forward. Honouring him means remembering who he was before Alzheimer’s, and doing something positive in his name.
This January, I’ll be walking 50 miles in his honour to raise much-needed funds for Alzheimer’s /dementia research and support. Every step is for him, and for the millions of families who are still facing this devastating disease every day.
