I'm walking 100 Miles in September for Dementia UK
This September, I'm walking 100 Miles and raising funds to help ensure no family faces dementia alone. I'm taking on the challenge for Dementia UK, the specialist dementia nursing charity, and would be grateful for your support.
Your donation, big or small, makes a difference. £33 could fund a new dementia specialist Admiral Nurse to spend an hour helping a family in the community, offering practical solutions and emotional support to cope with their loved one’s distressed behaviour.

For those who don’t know me, my name’s Jo, and sadly dementia has recently touched our family.
Watching someone you love go through the journey of getting a diagnosis has really opened my eyes to just how difficult this disease is. It can take years to get answers, and the impact isn’t just felt by the person diagnosed, but by the people who love and care for them every single day.
This September I’ve signed up to Dementia UK’s 30 Mile Challenge… but in true Jo fashion, I’m setting myself a slightly bigger target! My goal is to walk 100 miles throughout September while raising £250 for Dementia UK.
Every mile will be tracked on my Apple Watch, and I’ll share regular updates so you can keep me accountable and hopefully celebrate the journey with me!
