Walking for Dementia: A 62K Challenge in Memory of My Gran
Saturday 22nd FebThis March, I’m walking 62 kilometers for a cause that is deeply personal to me—dementia.
My motivation comes from the memory of my beloved gran, who bravely battled with this heartbreaking illness. Watching her struggle made me realise the importance of raising awareness and supporting those affected by dementia.
Alongside me every step of the way will be my trusty companion, Bear, my Cockapoo. He’s the perfect walking partner—energetic, loving, and always there to lift my spirits. Together, we are committed to this challenge to help raise funds for dementia research and care.
Every step we take will be a tribute to my gran and to everyone whose lives are impacted by dementia. I’m walking not just for her, but for all families facing similar challenges.
