I'm walking 30 Miles in September for Dementia UK
This September, my fiancé and I are taking on the challenge of walking 30 miles to raise money for Dementia UK.
This is a charity that means a lot to us personally, as my fiancé’s grandad sadly suffered with dementia before he passed away. We’ve seen first-hand how difficult and heartbreaking dementia can be, not only for the person living with it, but for their loved ones and the whole family too.
We’re taking on this challenge in his memory, while helping Dementia UK ensure that no family has to face dementia alone.
Dementia UK is the specialist dementia nursing charity, providing vital support, practical advice and emotional support to families navigating the challenges that dementia can bring.
Every donation, no matter how big or small, can make a real difference. £33 could fund a new dementia specialist Admiral Nurse to spend an hour supporting a family in the community, offering practical solutions and emotional support when they need it most.
30 miles will certainly be a challenge, but knowing we're doing it for such a meaningful cause and in memory of someone so special to us will make every step worthwhile. ❤️
If you’re able to support us with a donation, we would be incredibly grateful. Thank you for helping us make every mile count. 🥾❤️
