I'm doing Winter Reading Challenge for Dementia UK
This winter, I'm reading and raising funds to help ensure no family faces dementia alone. I'm taking on the challenge for Dementia UK, the specialist dementia nursing charity, and would be grateful for your support.
Your donation, big or small, makes a difference. £33 could fund a new dementia specialist Admiral Nurse to spend an hour helping a family in the community, offering practical solutions and emotional support to cope with their loved one’s distressed behaviour.
Thank you!

My Updates
Day Nine, Ten, Eleven and Twelve - 330 Pages
Tuesday 22nd Sep Doesn’t seem like anyone is interested but on we go. 330 pages over four days, not quite the 100 pages a day I’ve been aiming for but life gets in the way. I finished The Paris Library by Janet Skeslien Charles, it was an incredible read and I highly recommend it. Share
Days Six, Seven and Eight - 311 total
Wednesday 16th Sep Got a bit lax with the updates so here’s three in one. 311 pages read over three books. I finished another one, Wings of Night by Ella Walker Henderson. It’s similar to Fourth Wing with only slightly less sass from the FMC’s dragon and no romance (although it is a series so that may change). I did nearly DNF it as the FMC’s male friend was a complete red flag douchebag but I am glad I stuck with it and have started the second book. Share
Day Five - 114 Pages
Sunday 13th Sep I read 114 pages over two books again and finished Nineteen Minutes by Jodie Picoult. It’s the first book of hers I’ve read in a long time and about a school shooting and its aftermath for multiple people. A difficult read at times but a really good book to read. Share
Day Four - 139 Pages
Saturday 12th Sep Did much better on day four, 139 pages over two books. I’ve also been debating on posting the books I’ve read as I finish them and whether or not I recommend them, I’ll decide when I finish one! Share
Day Three - 71 Pages
Friday 11th Sep As predicted my page count was lower because I worked the evening. Still over two books (if four pages from one book counts 😂)
Day Two - 118 Pages
Thursday 10th Sep I’m aiming to read 100 pages or more each day during this challenge. Yesterday I read 118 over two books (I currently have 4 books on the go 🙈)

Great cause Jen! Good luck x
