Walk 62 Miles in October 2026

I'm walking 62 Miles in October for Dementia UK

This October, I'm walking 62 Miles and raising funds to help ensure no family faces dementia alone. I'm taking on the challenge for Dementia UK, the specialist dementia nursing charity, and would be grateful for your support.

Your donation, big or small, makes a difference. £33 could fund a new dementia specialist Admiral Nurse to spend an hour helping a family in the community, offering practical solutions and emotional support to cope with their loved one’s distressed behaviour.

Thank you!

Walking for Dementia — For My Nan ❤️

Walking for Dementia — For My Nan ❤️

This October, I’ll be taking part in a walk to raise money for dementia awareness and support.

I’m doing this for someone very special to me — my Nan, who is living with dementia.

Dementia is a cruel illness that doesn’t just affect the person diagnosed. It affects the whole family. It can slowly take away memories, independence and the little things that make someone who they are, while leaving loved ones feeling helpless as they watch someone they care about change.

My Nan means so much to me, and taking part in this walk is my small way of doing something positive. I want to help raise money to support people living with dementia, their families and the organisations working to improve understanding, care and research.

Every donation, no matter how big or small, would mean a lot to me and would help make a difference to people affected by dementia.

So, in October, I’ll be putting one foot in front of the other and walking 62 miles for my Nan. ❤️

If you can spare anything at all, please consider sponsoring me. Thank you so much for your support.
