I'm taking on the October Dog Walking Challenge
I’m walking 75 miles with my 3 dog’s Belle, Wilson and Bella this October and raising funds for families affected by dementia. This is a cause close to my heart after my beautiful Nanna’s battle with dementia. My Nan sadly lost her battle back in 2019 and I am taking on this challenge for dementia uk in her memory as the help and support they offer to families like mine can make all difference. I would be so grateful for your support.
An £8 donation could cover the telephone costs of two families seeking support through Dementia UK's free Helpline. £33 could fund an hour with a dementia specialist Admiral Nurse, helping a family with practical solutions and emotional support. I will be forever grateful to the wonderful Admiral nurse who helped support my mum who cared continuously for my Nan during her battle with dementia.
All three dogs might not make the whole 75 miles as Wilson is getting older now but they will be completing it between them 🥰
