I'm doing The 36 Hole Challenge for Dementia UK
I’m taking on The 36 Hole Golf Challenge in one day (yes… 36 holes! My legs and probably my swing are already slightly concerned!) to raise vital funds for Dementia UK. 19th June 2026 is the day!
This is a cause that’s very close to my heart. My dad, who was a keen golfer himself, was diagnosed with dementia several years ago. Some of my best memories are of him enjoying the game and it feels really fitting to be taking on this challenge. Watching him face this cruel disease has been incredibly tough, dementia doesn’t just affect the person diagnosed, it impacts the whole family.
So, I’ll be out there battling 36 holes, dodgy shots, and tired legs (and probably spending more time in the rough than I’d like!), all for a cause that truly matters. If I can make it round, I’m hoping you might be able to spare a few pounds to support me!
Dementia UK does amazing work, providing specialist nurses and support to families going through the same journey. Every donation makes a real difference.
