I'm walking 50 Miles in January for Dementia UK
My Grumps died at beginning of December 2025 and I would like to raise funds for Dementia UK as he suffered with it. This January, I'm walking 50 Miles and raising funds to help ensure no family faces dementia alone. I'm taking on the challenge for Dementia UK, the specialist dementia nursing charity, and would be grateful for your support.
Your donation, big or small, makes a difference. £33 could fund a new dementia specialist Admiral Nurse to spend an hour helping a family in the community, offering practical solutions and emotional support to cope with their loved one’s distressed behaviour.

Saturday 31st Jan I've done it. I walked 3.6 miles today in the sun!! Thank.you for supporting me. Im absolutely overwhelmed by it all!!

Friday 23rd Jan Today, I walked 5 miles on the treadmill. Weather is awful outside and not sure its going to be getting any better. Share

Friday 23rd Jan Today, I walked on the treadmill and did 2 miles then a further 1 mile, totaling in 3miles Share

Friday 16th Jan Today, I started using treadmill to get my mileage in. I completed 1 mile. Share
16th January
Friday 16th Jan Weather, school and other commitments, its been difficult to get the miles in so I've reverted to the treadmill. Today I completed a 1mile walk and then accidently pushed something then did a further 2.7miles. So 3.7miles in total. Share
4th January
Sunday 4th Jan Walk around Egon in the snow today. Nearly 3 miles done (2.93 miles) Share
2nd January
Friday 2nd Jan Today I walked at Scarborough in the wind and snow. I managed to do 2.9 miles. Share
