I'm walking 30 miles in September

I’m walking 30 Miles in September and raising funds for families affected by dementia. I would be grateful for your support.

An £8 donation could cover the telephone costs of two families seeking support through Dementia UK's free Helpline. £33 could fund an hour with a dementia specialist Admiral Nurse, helping a family with practical solutions and emotional support.

I would just like to say a huge thank you to everybody that has donated so far. It is greatly appreciated and hopefully throughout the month I can keep pushing to raise even more and give the opportunity to many more families struggling with the hard challenges that come with dementia. 

The money I have raised already is so much and will make a huge difference but I can’t help but want to push for more!!

Throughout the month of September I am committing to walking 30 miles for dementia. 

This is something very close to my heart for personal reasons but also because working in care I have had to see the difficulties that dementia comes with from losing memory, forgetting every day things to even forgetting family members. Dementia has a real hard and distressing effect on the person suffering and also the people having to watch their loved ones change each day. 

I would like to do all I can to make a change so please if you could donate as little or as much as you can afford it really would be appreciated.
