Help me reach my goal of £400

I'm walking 62K with my dog Flint for Dementia UK

This March, I’ll be walking 62K with my dog, Flint 🐶, to raise funds for Dementia UK, a charity that provides vital support to families affected by dementia. Their work ensures that no family has to face the challenges of dementia alone.

In July 2017, I lost my Nanna to dementia—a cruel disease that slowly takes away the person you love, piece by piece. Watching her change, forget, and struggle with confusion was heartbreaking, but through it all, I could always see her kind, gentle soul still there. Also unfortunately i never got to meet him but my Mums dad Grampy Ted suffered from Dementia. That’s why I’m walking in thier memory. I know many others have loved ones who’ve gone through the same, and I want to raise as many funds as possible to help those facing similar challenges, while also supporting the research needed to one day find a cure.

Injury 🤕

Tuesday 4th Mar
Unfortunately, we had to take flint to the vets on Monday morning as he wasn't himself and didn't want to jump or go upstairs. Vets they believe Flint has strained a muscle or tweaked something near his back end. He’ll be on short lead walks, painkillers, and rest this week. But once he’s better, we’ll be back at it, covering our kilometers! In the meantime, please go to my fund rasing page and donate to Dementia UK!

I feel amazing today and just wanted to keep walking with the gorgeous weather today so achieved 6km today 🙌 . And just as I finish I see a white feather float in front of me 🤍🥹
