I'm walking 60 Miles in June for Dementia UK

This June, I'm walking 60 Miles and raising funds to help ensure no family faces dementia alone. I'm taking on the challenge for Dementia UK, the specialist dementia nursing charity, and would be grateful for your support.

Your donation, big or small, makes a difference. £33 could fund a new dementia specialist Admiral Nurse to spend an hour helping a family in the community, offering practical solutions and emotional support to cope with their loved one’s distressed behaviour.

Visiting my dad in his care home hurts me. It hurts to see such a proud and succesful, driven and ambitious man so completely changed and almost childlike. I get scared about what im going to walk into. Is he going to have deteoriated badly this time ? Is he going to look even more frail? Are the staff treating him kindly? Im thankful that he is still here and that we still get time together x i am going to watch the Arsenal game with him on Monday. X
