Fundraising for Dementia
Saturday 23rd Aug i am currently going to 30 miles in September to fundraise for dementia. throughout covid my nan started losing her memory resulting in her having to live with us this was ongoing for quite some time it’s was stressful for me and my family during this time she forgot who we are, where she was, sometimes she would call me her mum or daughter and times she would completely forget who we where and how we was visitors which is one of the worst thing to go through she had loads of hospital trips and sadly not long after her 90th birthday which was on the 18th December 2024 she lost her ability to walk , chew, swallow and even use the bathroom. Sadly on the 18th january she sadly passed away.it was such an emotional time and i want to raise money to give awareness and to help people who are in similar situation get support.
