I'm walking 30 Miles in September for Dementia UK
This September, I'm walking 30 Miles and raising funds to help ensure no family faces dementia alone. I'm taking on the challenge for Dementia UK, the specialist dementia nursing charity, and would be grateful for your support.
Your donation, big or small, makes a difference. £33 could fund a new dementia specialist Admiral Nurse to spend an hour helping a family in the community, offering practical solutions and emotional support to cope with their loved one’s distressed behaviour.
Thank you!

Monday 7th Sep
Hoping for a boost!
Sunday 6th Sep The walks so far have been a bit slower than I would have liked and a lot of stopping and starting because I’ve not had much time without my other little walkers!! A new week tomorrow and hope of some good walking.
Thank you!
Friday 28th Aug Thank you all so much for your amazing donations I’m already overwhelmed by your kindness! My wonderful mum was diagnosed with vascular dementia and it really raised my awareness of how much support is needed, and without vital donations it won’t be possible. As hard as the NHS work it’s just not enough. The struggles of being on a “normal” hospital ward, the struggle to find suitable care at an appropriate cost, support for family members who navigate it alone, the list goes on.Thank you to my Sponsors
