I'm walking 30 miles in September
I’m walking 30 Miles in September and raising funds for families affected by dementia. I would be grateful for your support.
An £8 donation could cover the telephone costs of two families seeking support through Dementia UK's free Helpline. £33 could fund an hour with a dementia specialist Admiral Nurse, helping a family with practical solutions and emotional support.

Dementia in my family
Wednesday 3rd Sep My Grandad was diagnosed 9 years ago with dementia, over the years its gradually got worse but thankfully he still knows who we all are. My Nan cares for him at home. They've been married 73 years this month and she is so devoted to him. He's still got his witty sense of humour, and cheeky smile. Its a cruel illness, he forgets what hes had for breakfast but can still remember his wedding day ❤️.My Mother in law also got diagnosed a few years back.
So I'm doing the walk for them x
