I'm walking 30 miles in September

I’m walking 30 Miles in September and raising funds for families affected by dementia. I would be grateful for your support.

An £8 donation could cover the telephone costs of two families seeking support through Dementia UK's free Helpline. £33 could fund an hour with a dementia specialist Admiral Nurse, helping a family with practical solutions and emotional support.

Reason for my dementia walk

Sunday 3rd Aug
My father in law, John was diagnosed with  dementia and Alzheimer’s in 2020. He has always been a lovely, caring and funny man. Thankfully he still has his great sense of humour and has us laughing at times. 
 Hopefully this fundraising will help to contribute to supporting those with the condition as well as their carers and families. Here’s to a future where dementia doesn’t  impact lives as it does today. Looking forward to the challenge!
