Walk 30 Miles in September 2026

I'm running everyday in September for Dementia UK

This September, I'm running everyday and raising funds to help ensure no family faces dementia alone. I'm taking on the challenge for Dementia UK, the specialist dementia nursing charity, and would be grateful for your support.

Your donation, big or small, makes a difference. £33 could fund a new dementia specialist Admiral Nurse to spend an hour helping a family in the community, offering practical solutions and emotional support to cope with their loved one’s distressed behaviour.

Thank you!

My Updates

Completed 🎉

Wednesday 30th Sep
I managed to run everyday in September and covered at least 115 miles. Thank you for sponsoring me, it helped me get up in the morning and run, which definitely helped my grief and most importantly raised money for dementia uk to fund their admiral nurses who provide important support to loved ones/carers caring for people living with dementia. Thanks everyone ❤️

More than half way

Tuesday 22nd Sep
Thanks for all the donations :)
I'm still running everyday, most days I'm aiming for 4 miles, I even went running with colleagues whilst in Cardiff last week (pic attached) - 8 days left and definitely feeling the benefits - although I think the dog Fred is a little over it and would like more sniffing time.

My mission

Wednesday 2nd Sep
I’m going to try and run everyday - at least 4 miles and on the days my body won’t let me I’ll walk it.
I think the best therapy to get you through grief:
 is a good run ✔️
 a view ✔️
a dog ✔️
some banging tunes. ✔️
Thank you for all the sponsorship ❤️

I was so sad to hear this when you told me last month. I’m sure your dad would be proud, though not surprised that you have found a way to use your grieving process to help others. Tim x
