I'm walking 50 Miles in January for Dementia UK
This January, I'm walking 50 Miles and raising funds to help ensure no family faces dementia alone. I'm taking on the challenge for Dementia UK, the specialist dementia nursing charity, and would be grateful for your support.
Your donation, big or small, makes a difference. £33 could fund a new dementia specialist Admiral Nurse to spend an hour helping a family in the community, offering practical solutions and emotional support to cope with their loved one’s distressed behaviour.

My Perfect Dad
Saturday 20th DecThis January I’m aiming to walk 50 miles to raise money for dementia care, which has been inspired by my perfect Dad. For those of you who may or may not know, Dad is very, very poorly with Dementia and both heart and kidney failure. He is no longer living at home, but in a specialised care setting.
I’m doing this while on maternity leave, alongside Dad’s new, beautiful grandson Ruairi, and with the cheerful encouragement of his little granddaughter Aoife ❤️ who keeps us smiling even on the toughest days.
It’s been an incredibly hard year for our family, and on the lead up to Christmas feels extremely heavy... so here is my new focus!
We’ve been carried by the love around us and the kindness of some truly wonderful people. Thank you ❤️
This feels like a big thing to share to with the world... so here is my way of saying I love you to Dad, and helping fund the care that makes such a difference to families like ours.
