I'm walking 94 miles with my dog for Dementia UK
Hello! A month later than planned but in April I'm walking 94 miles with my dog Poppy and raising funds to help ensure no family faces dementia alone. My Granny is 94 this year and has been diagnosed with Alzeimers, a type of Dementia. She once described it as having a ‘curtain’ in her brain and the anxiety that accompanies her decline in memory and independence has been deeply upsetting for her and for us.
Your donation, big or small will cover the telephone costs forfamilies seeking support and funding for dementia specialist Admiral Nurses offering practical solutions and emotional support to families struggling to cope.
