I'm walking 30 miles in September

I’m walking 30 Miles in September and raising funds for families affected by dementia. I would be grateful for your support.

An £8 donation could cover the telephone costs of two families seeking support through Dementia UK's free Helpline. £33 could fund an hour with a dementia specialist Admiral Nurse, helping a family with practical solutions and emotional support.

Thank you!

Reason why

Monday 1st Sep
Back in June 2020, not long after my mum was diagnosed with vascular dementia—and with Covid making everything even harder—I took on a bike riding challenge. I completed it in the hope of offering a little support to the amazing charities that help others facing situations like ours.

Dementia is a cruel, relentless thief of a disease. It took my mum away from me, piece by piece, and left me in limbo—unable to help her understand, unable to make her feel better.  So this September, in her memory, I’ve decided to take on the 30 Miles Walking Challenge. If you would like to support me by donating to this incredible charity, it would mean the world and be so greatly appreciated. 💜
