Made it to Old Trafford ❤️

On Saturday 28th February I made it to Old Trafford!
The walk was a brilliant experience and when I arrived the hospitality shown to me by the club was incredible.

I'm so proud of what I've achieved and overwhelmed by the support I've received, and I want to thank everyone for their encouragement ❤️

Part One - 27 miles ✅

Monday 23rd Feb
Hi everyone, thanksso much for your support 🙏🏼 
I just want to let you know that I completed part one of the walk on Saturday, From Nantwich Town FC to Bucklow Hill.
The route was incredibly muddy and difficult to navigate but we managed to power through.
The final stage of the walk to Old Trafford will take place on Saturday 28th Feb, my Granddad's birthday. I'm walking in his memory.

40 Miles for a Very Special Connection

Tuesday 3rd Feb

My son, Ferguson (9), is taking on a massive challenge. 

Over the course of two weekends, we are walking from Nantwich Town's ground all the way to Old Trafford, a 40-mile journey to honor a man he never got to meet.

While Ferguson was named after the legendary Sir Alex, his connection to Old Trafford goes much deeper. My father, Ferguson’s Grandad, passed away due to Dementia and Alzheimer’s before Ferguson was born. His ashes were scattered on the pitch at Old Trafford, the place he loved most.

By walking these 40miles, Ferguson is raising money for Dementia UK while making a pilgrimage to "meet" his Grandad at the finish line. We want to help other families get the support they need when facing this cruel disease.

Any donation, no matter how small, will keep Ferguson’s legs moving toward the Theatre of Dreams!
