Why I’m Taking on Fans vs Dementia
Working in the care sector has allowed me to support individuals living with dementia, and I have seen first-hand how deeply it affects not only the person diagnosed but also their families. Dementia is more than memory loss. It changes routines, relationships, and daily independence. I have witnessed moments of confusion, vulnerability, and also incredible resilience. What has always stood out to me is how much families need guidance, reassurance, and specialist support. That is why I am fundraising for Dementia UK. The work of specialist dementia nurses makes a real difference to families navigating this journey. Through this challenge, I hope to raise awareness as well as funds to support the vital work they do. Dementia care is not just my profession it is something I care deeply about, and I am committed to making a meaningful impact in this field.
Thank you for supporting me.
