I'm walking 30 miles in September

I’m walking 30 Miles in September and raising funds for families affected by dementia. I would be grateful for your support.

An £8 donation could cover the telephone costs of two families seeking support through Dementia UK's free Helpline. £33 could fund an hour with a dementia specialist Admiral Nurse, helping a family with practical solutions and emotional support.

So today I have officially finished as I have reached my 'increased' target......a HUGE thank-you to everyone who has supported me...be it by following my page, donating or both....I really appreciate all the support 🫶❤️.....couldn't have done it without you all....and yes, I may even keep going with the 30 minute jog....but maybe every other day 🤪!

Increased Target to 40 miles

Saturday 20th Sep
Tonight I've decided to increase my target to jogging 40 miles in September as an incentive to keep going to the end of the month 😀🏃

Didn't quite hit the 10,000...nearly 🤪

Sunday 14th Sep
9623 steps in 56 minutes tonight (3.3km or 2 miles!)) but what I am super proud of myself for is that I ran it all the way....and I don't feel too bad for it....think the break yesterday must have helped 🤣🏃🏃‍♀️🥇

More than half way!!!

Wednesday 10th Sep
It's the 10th of the month and can't quite believe that I've run 20 miles already 🏃‍♀️💪🙃. I can do this!!

Taking it easy for the weekend 😃

Sunday 7th Sep
Day off yesterday but back to it today, albeit a gentler pace because, well it is the weekend and I want to slowly increase my distance jogging. Combination of jogging and walking. 🏃

Discrepancy today!!

Friday 5th Sep
Day 5 and we have a discrepancy between treadmill and health app but pleased with result all the same. Treadmill says 3km and 7933 steps and health app says 4.53km and only 6162 steps ?🤔....I like to think I'm going too fast for the health app to keep up with my steps 🤣!!

Day 2....It's getting easier...I think 😁

My aim is to jog for 30 minutes a day to reach my goal.

Saturday 23rd Aug
When I started practicing about a week ago I barely reached 3000 steps in 30 minutes and this was a little jogging but mainly walking. Felt really good today and jogged all but 5 minutes in the middle and smashed 5000 steps-Very happy with that 😁🏃
