I'm walking 30 Miles in September for Dementia UK
This September, I'm walking 30 Miles and raising funds to help ensure no family faces dementia alone. I'm taking on the challenge for Dementia UK, the specialist dementia nursing charity, and would be grateful for your support.
Your donation, big or small, makes a difference. £33 could fund a new dementia specialist Admiral Nurse to spend an hour helping a family in the community, offering practical solutions and emotional support to cope with their loved one’s distressed behaviour.

Good evening all,
Today’s walk was a big one - 4 miles in just under an hour - which means I’ve now reached 39.97 miles in total. That’s officially past the 30‑mile target for the challenge!
But I’m not stopping there. I’d love to push myself further and aim for 60 miles by the end of September. Nearly 40 down… let’s see how far I can go.

Putting in the Miles for Those That Did For Us
Thursday 3rd SepI have many friends with a parent or relative living with dementia, and recently someone in my own family has been diagnosed too. Seeing the impact it has on both the person and the people who love them has inspired me to take on the Walk 30 Miles in September Challenge for Dementia UK.
Dementia UK provides specialist support not just for those with dementia, but for families navigating the challenges alongside them. It’s an incredible charity doing vital work.
