I'm walking 62 Miles in October
I’m walking 62 Miles in October and raising funds so that families affected by dementia get the specialist help and advice they need. I would be grateful for your support.
An £10 donation can cover the telephone costs of two families seeking support through Dementia UK's free Helpline. £33 could fund an hour with a dementia specialist Admiral Nurse, helping a family with practical solutions and emotional support.

I am done!!
Friday 31st Oct I have completed a total of 68 miles over the month. This has definitely inspired me to walk more. I feel fitter, happier and more focused. A massive thank you to everyone who sponsored me. There is still time to give if you can. I will update the total once I have collected the paper sponsors. Thanks again everyone that has helped provide invaluable services to those and the families of those suffering with dementia. Share
Walking in the Malverns
Tuesday 14th Oct My favourite walk so far is the Malvern ridge 5m walk, easy to find on OS maps, I walked this with my family. Along the way we saw the abandoned quarry and visited the Holywell. Stunning views and challenging peaks. Fresh air and daily walks are great ways to clear the mind, spend time with family and just soak up some of our stunning countryside. I highly recommend this for a way to stay fit and promote positive mental health. Thank you to everyone that has sponsored me so far. This is a cause that is special to my family and I would love to raise as much as possible for this charity that provides invaluable support to the families of those suffering with dementia.
