I'm walking 30 Miles in September for Dementia UK
This September, I'm walking 30 Miles and raising funds to help ensure no family faces dementia alone. I'm taking on the challenge for Dementia UK, the specialist dementia nursing charity, and would be grateful for your support.
Your donation, big or small, makes a difference. £33 could fund a new dementia specialist Admiral Nurse to spend an hour helping a family in the community, offering practical solutions and emotional support to cope with their loved one’s distressed behaviour.

Why I’m Walking 30 Miles for Dementia UK This September
Tuesday 1st SepThis September, I’m taking on a little challenge that means a lot to me — walking 30 miles to raise money and awareness for Dementia UK. 💜
I’ll be doing most of my walks locally around Wrecclesham, enjoying our lovely local area while getting my miles in. Some walks might be short and easy, others a little more challenging — but every step will count!
And I’d absolutely love some company! 😊
If you live locally and fancy getting out for a walk, having a chat and helping me clock up some miles, you’re very welcome to join me. Whether it’s a quick stroll or a few miles, it would be lovely to have friends, family, neighbours and anyone else who would like to come along.
I’ll be sharing my progress throughout September, so keep an eye out for updates and details of upcoming walks. 👟
Most importantly, I’m doing this to support Dementia UK and the families affected by dementia. Every donation, share, message of encouragement — and every mile walked with me — will help make a difference.
