I'm running 100K for Dementia UK
This February, I'm running 100K and raising funds to help ensure no family faces dementia alone. I'm taking on the challenge for Dementia UK, the specialist dementia nursing charity, and would be grateful for your support.
Your donation, big or small, makes a difference. £33 could fund a new dementia specialist Admiral Nurse to spend an hour helping a family in the community, offering practical solutions and emotional support to cope with their loved one’s distressed behaviour.

Wednesday 14th Jan This February, I’m running 100K for Dementia UK – a cause close to my heart. I’m running for my Grandmother Vilma who was diagnosed almost 10 years ago now. I’ve always been very close to my Nanny Vilma. She is a wise, caring and beautiful woman who has always given her heart and soul to everyone and given nothing but kindness to everyone she met. She’s looked after me, my sister, my cousins and my dad and uncle martin, my grandad and all those who ever came into her life. I’ve lived with my Grandad Jobba & Nanny Vilma whilst I was at university and loved every minute of spending time with them, even when dementia was there to make things hard, there was always light and laughter and things Nan would do that would keep us smiling when she’d be forgetful and silly. I will also be running for my Grandad Dennis/ Jobba. He spends every single day taking care of my Nan- the love of his life❤️. He is an Angel and it shows how after almost 60 years of marriage how you will go to the end of the earth for someone you love..Thank you to my Sponsors
