She’s done it 👏👏👏

Wednesday 29th Oct
After a late start (and a few days away without her 4 legged friend), Eleanor has completed her 75-mile Dementia UK Dog Walking Challenge — and even finished a couple of days eearly 💪👏 Huge thanks to everyone who’s sponsored her so far — she’s raised £130 for such an important cause. It’s been a bit of a juggling act between school, homework, and her ever-growing social life but she’s smashed it! 💙 And bonus points for Teddy, her trusty four-legged walking buddy — who we reckon has lost a bit of weight, so the vet will be happy! 🐶👏 If anyone fancies giving her total a little boost, the link’s here 👉URL

Paws for a Cause 🐾

Sunday 26th Oct

After being away for a few days celebrating  Nanny’s 80th and her cousins 21st,  Eleanor has been busy playing catch up this week. She pulled off a double whammy yesterday— a lovely morning trot around Sefton Park, followed by her usual afternoon route near home (with a quick pit stop at the pub to celebrate Mum and Dad’s wedding anniversary 🍻). Up and out early this morning to clock up more miles.

She’s making great progress and every step is for such an important cause — thank you so much to everyone who’s supported her so far! 💙🐶 #DementiaUK #DogWalk #PawsForACause

Walking for Dementia UK

Wednesday 15th Oct
So, Eleanor is on a mission this October – she’s walking 75 miles with Teddy to raise money for dementia. We’re now halfway through the month and she’s already smashed out 31 miles. Not bad for squeezing it in after school, homework and dinner, right? There have been wet evenings, muddy shoes and one very tired dog… but she’s still smiling and determined to hit the big 75. She’d love a bit more sponsorship to keep her going – every £1 makes a difference and gives her that extra push to get out the door when it’s dark and chilly. 👉 Sponsor her here: https://fundraise.dementiauk.org/s/19390/19718 Thanks for cheering her and Teddy on – 46 miles to go! 💜🐕✨

Eleanor & Teddy’s Big Challenge

Wednesday 1st Oct

My daughter Eleanor,  is taking part the ‘Walk 75 Miles with Your Dog” challenge this October, to  raise funds for Dementia UK.

She and Teddy will be out walking whatever the weather, racking up the miles - and probably a fair bit of mud too 🐾

If you can support by sponsoring or just cheering her on, it would mean a lot. 💙 xxx

An £8 donation could cover the telephone costs of two families seeking support through Dementia UK's free Helpline. £33 could fund an hour with a dementia specialist Admiral Nurse, helping a family with practical solutions and emotional support.

Thank you to my Sponsors
