I'm taking on the October Dog Walking Challenge

I’m walking 75 miles with my dog Polly this October and raising funds for families affected by dementia. I would be grateful for your support.

An £8 donation could cover the telephone costs of two families seeking support through Dementia UK's free Helpline. £33 could fund an hour with a dementia specialist Admiral Nurse, helping a family with practical solutions and emotional support.

🐾 Walking for a Cause: 75 Miles for Dementia UK this October

This October, I’m lacing up my walking shoes (and grabbing plenty of dog treats) to take on the 75-mile Dog Walking Challenge in support of Dementia UK — a charity that provides life-changing support for families facing dementia.

Every step I take (and every paw print beside me) is for those who can’t always find their way — for the people and families navigating memory loss, confusion, and the daily challenges dementia brings.

Dementia UK’s specialist Admiral Nurses are a lifeline. They help families make sense of the tough moments, offering understanding, guidance, and hope when it’s needed most. That’s what your donation helps fund.

I’ll be walking 75 miles throughout October — come rain, shine, or muddy paws — to raise money and awareness for this amazing cause.
