I'm walking 50 Miles(I'll be aiming for more) in January for Dementia UK
During 2025 I've been doing Cognitive Research tests with 'Dementia Research'. It's increasingly become a concern of mine that I may be susceptible, as many older people are and many more will be.
So, this January, I'm walking 50 Miles and raising funds to help ensure no family faces Dementia alone. I'm taking on the challenge for Dementia UK, the specialist dementia nursing charity, and would be grateful for your support.
To give a boost toward my target, Anne and I will be participating in 'Dry January' and whatever we would have spent on alcohol each week we will donate to the fund. If we slip up, we will DONATE A PENALTY PAYMENT!
Any donation to Dementia UK, big or small, makes a difference. For example, £33 could fund a new dementia specialist Admiral Nurse to spend an hour helping a family in the community, offering practical solutions and emotional support to cope with their loved one’s distressed behaviour.
