I'm cycling for Dementia UK
I'm taking on a cycling challenge and raising funds to help ensure no family faces dementia alone. I'm taking on the challenge for Dementia UK, the specialist dementia nursing charity, and would be grateful for your support.Your donation, big or small, makes a difference. £33 could fund a new dementia specialist Admiral Nurse to spend an hour helping a family in the community, offering practical solutions and emotional support to cope with their loved one’s distressed behaviour.

My eldest Brother Bob!
Sunday 12th Jul Guys, my eldest Brother Bob has both vascular dementia and Alzheimer’s. Dementia UK have really supported his family, especially at a time when Bob’s wife is very poorly as well. Thanks to a wonderful tennis player, Pindi, who has kindly lent me a cycle, I am planning to do a 50 mile charity ride on 20th of July. Thankfully, a very dear friend, Sally, who so often does long distance cycle rides for charity is accompanying me. And, to be honest, despite the heat, I’m really looking forward to it all.
