I'm walking 30 Miles in September for Dementia UK

This September, I'm walking 30 Miles and raising funds to help ensure no family faces dementia alone. I'm taking on the challenge for Dementia UK, the specialist dementia nursing charity, and would be grateful for your support.

Your donation, big or small, makes a difference. £33 could fund a new dementia specialist Admiral Nurse to spend an hour helping a family in the community, offering practical solutions and emotional support to cope with their loved one’s distressed behaviour.

Walk for my dad

Friday 7th Aug
My dad has been diagnosed with Dementia (Alzheimer’s) to be exact and apparently our only blessing is that when he was diagnosed he is in his 80’s so we are hoping it won’t get to bad for us as a family. Now my dad has worked hard all of his life and never been sick until now how is this fair? 
To actually watch one of the most important people in my life struggle with simple things is awful and I personally hate it my dad like most girls is my life my best friend and my hero no-one deserves this disease maybe there will never be a cure  maybe there won’t but to raise money to help is a starting point
