I'm walking 30 miles in September
I’m walking 30 Miles in September and raising funds for families affected by dementia. I would be grateful for your support.
An £8 donation could cover the telephone costs of two families seeking support through Dementia UK's free Helpline. £33 could fund an hour with a dementia specialist Admiral Nurse, helping a family with practical solutions and emotional support.

The Beards are getting their Walk on 👣
Monday 4th Aug As our closest friends/ family will know the last few years especially the last few months/ weeks have been tough for my family with the loss of my auntie Liz who had Dementia, to my Dads diagnosis a few years ago and mums diagnosis a couple of ago.Deans Nan Ruth also suffered with this awful disease and most recently my Uncle Brian has been diagnosed! It is as they say the long goodbye, it’s taking my loved ones from me but the hardest part for me as a daughter is how it is ripping my heart out bit by bit by slowly taking my Dad & Mum from me.
I have done the Alzheimer’s walk, now I want to do something extra so here it is….. 30miles in my Birthday month! Even if I can help raise a little to help a family be able to experience the kindness & support from an admiral nurse like I have. My Admiral nurse Sheila is nothing short of an angel in my eyes and extremely supportive when it is needed!
Any little donation is much appreciated and if you can’t donate just words of support will be amazing 🤩
