I'm walking 62 Miles in October

I’m walking 62 Miles in October and raising funds so that families affected by dementia get the specialist help and advice they need. I would be grateful for your support.

An £10 donation can cover the telephone costs of two families seeking support through Dementia UK's free Helpline. £33 could fund an hour with a dementia specialist Admiral Nurse, helping a family with practical solutions and emotional support.

My mum

As you're aware my mum had a brain hemorrhage 2 years ago leaving her with vascular, dementia, she was also diagnosed with alzheimer's  and 3 types dementia, mum has her hood days but we have a lot more bad days now and she doesn't know who we all are now. It's a horrible disease to have to deal with because even though she doesn't realise it, its us the family who are left to pick up the pieces.
