I’m walking 30 Miles in September and raising funds for families affected by dementia. I would be grateful for your support.
An £8 donation could cover the telephone costs of two families seeking support through Dementia UK's free Helpline. £33 could fund an hour with a dementia specialist Admiral Nurse, helping a family with practical solutions and emotional support.

Monday 1st SepOver the years, I have provided nursing care to patients with dementia. However, I never anticipated caring for my own father with this debilitating disease.
Caring for my father was both physically and emotionally taxing. I witnessed his gradual decline over the years, which was incredibly difficult to witness.
The support we required was never enough and would have liked to have spent more valuable time with him instead of worrying about everything and trying to get things right. I am now seeking to raise funds to assist other families who are currently facing the same challenges. Every contribution, no matter how small, would be greatly appreciated
