I'm taking on the October Dog Walking Challenge

I’m walking 75 miles with my dog this October and raising funds for families affected by dementia. I would be grateful for your support.

An £8 donation could cover the telephone costs of two families seeking support through Dementia UK's free Helpline. £33 could fund an hour with a dementia specialist Admiral Nurse, helping a family with practical solutions and emotional support.

Thank you!

Can’t say it’s been easy,  but I’m really enjoying it.
Made me realise how much Iv missed been out in nature,  that I sit to much through the day at work and quite time out walking with my dog is great for my mental health.
So Iv learnt a lot over this past month.
Knowing this going forward,   I intent to implement far more time each week  for walking ‘ my happy quiet place’ with my bestest buddy 🐾

Think iv killed the dog lol

Absolutely beautiful day to get out into the countryside. Racked up a good 9.2 this afternoon in the sunshine.   however the hound was knackered and asleep with 5 mins of been back lol
We covered 2  beaches, woodland  and fields.
Love where we live

First walk in the bag

Working tomorrow so we had our first 6.1 miles today and with the lovely company of my aunt Karen and her little dog Ella.
Both Karen and. Lost our beloved mum/ nan to Dementia in May last year so I was very proud to have her walk with me today and it seemed very fitting walking together in her name for this fantastic charity.
Thank you Aunty Kar I love you xxx
