I'm walking 30 miles in September
I’m walking 30 Miles in September and raising funds for families affected by dementia. I would be grateful for your support.
An £8 donation could cover the telephone costs of two families seeking support through Dementia UK's free Helpline. £33 could fund an hour with a dementia specialist Admiral Nurse, helping a family with practical solutions and emotional support.

Challenge Complete - I never realised quite how far I walk each day!
Wednesday 1st Oct So, September is over & the challenge is complete. Thank you so much to everyone who made a donation to this very worthy cause. Since Mum died, I have definitely taken more time out to make sure I have a walk every day for my mental health & of course fitness, but just counting steps I never realised how far I went. I've walked around 94 miles in September & exceeded my fundraising target. Most of the walks were fairly local but there were also some new places to explore on a weekend away & using my Birthday Bus Pass! Thank you again, all donations are very much appreciated. Share
