I'm walking 60 Miles in June for Dementia UK
This June, I'm walking 60 Miles and raising funds to help ensure no family faces dementia alone. I'm taking on the challenge for Dementia UK, the specialist dementia nursing charity, and would be grateful for your support.
Your donation, big or small, makes a difference. £33 could fund a new dementia specialist Admiral Nurse to spend an hour helping a family in the community, offering practical solutions and emotional support to cope with their loved one’s distressed behaviour.

This June, I’m taking on the 60 Miles in June Challenge for Dementia UK.
My Dad lived with both dementia and Alzheimer’s, and watching someone you love slowly change because of these conditions is something that stays with you forever.
Earlier this year, I lost my Dad, and not a day goes by that I don’t think about him.
There were difficult days, heartbreaking days, and days where I felt helpless. But there were also moments of love, laughter, and memories I’ll carry with me for the rest of my life.
Every mile I walk or run this month is for him.
For the Dad who shaped me.
For the memories we shared.
For the families currently navigating this journey.
And for those who have lost someone they love to dementia or Alzheimer’s.
If you’ve ever been affected by either condition, you’ll understand why this means so much to me.
