I'm walking 62 Miles in October
I’m walking 62 Miles this October for Dementia UK. I am doing this on behalf of my wife who works for Home Instead Warrington and Lymm. A big part of her role is supporting people with dementia. She sees the effects this disease has on her clients and families. I see the effect it has on her and so Id like to do something to help and so this is why I've taken this challenge on. I will walk 2 miles a day not including any distance i walk in work.
Any support would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

Day 3
Friday 3rd Oct Today was a combination of 2 walks. My first was a lovely slow paced walk around the Albert Dock with the family and taking a tour of The Galeón Andalucía currently moored there. It was a slightly broken walk as we navigated the steps of the ship and stopped to take in the history. Also stopping for a Dubai Cappuccino and Lemon soda water contributing to the slow pace. However it was a lovely family afternoon. I then took a slightly more brisk walk just to get the minimum 2miles finished, on this walk i was accompanied by the wind and rain of the incoming Storm Amy, luckily the wind was behind me so inwas a little quicker 🌬🚶♂️ ShareThank you to my Sponsors

I work with Nicky and know what she’s going through no matter how professional we are in our jobs it still gets to you when seeing someone progressing, declining with this horrid disease and there’s only so much we can do to support our clients/loved ones.
